Nintendo Canada with Cohn & Wolfe asked to pitch a video concept for the launch of the Wii U in Canada. We came up with "A Day in the Life of a Mii", Nintendo's iconic avatars. The project was premised on people coming together in play, and to celebrate the launch.
We shot the video in a flash mob guerrilla style, detaching crews to follow the Mii's around Toronto as they gathered downtown for the launch event itself.
The resulting spot is the most viewed youtube video by Nintendo Canada, and picked up world wide recognition in various video game media outlets, Nintendo USA, and Nintendo Japan.
We had fun with this one, and it comes across on the screen.
